Don’t define a friend by any situation,
Situations just help you to find your friend who already exists !

When one of my colleagues asked me to say one closest or best friend in the office, I told one’s name. He was surprised and replied immediately “How? I haven’t seen him with you while Partying or playing..I thought you would have told anyone from a gang where you have always been around”.

That sounded so weird to me. Do you think, hanging around with him makes him a good friend? I asked the same question to him. That’s why I have decided to write this article.

I want to say something loudly,

“Situations never create a friend, It just helps you to find your friend who already exists.”

Most of the answers I have heard to the question “Why do you call him Friend?” are “He helped me when I needed money, he entertained me whenever I got bored, he used to clear my doubts..etc”

Then what about others? those who haven’t helped you yet. So they are not your friends? Don’t define anyone as a friend for what they have done to you.

Be thankful for getting help from anyone. But Don’t carry them into friendship’s definition.

Loving is enough to be a friend. It never depends on money at all.

As far as I understand my friendship, Even though they aren’t able to help in the way you need, saying take care, dropping a smile is enough to be a friend.

So who are my friends?

  1. He would worry when I feel bad.
  2. He is happy when I smile.
  3. He would never express how much they liked me, they acted upon it.
  4. He would try to crack a joke when I am sad, but it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t understand my situation. He is trying to recover my happiness.

That’s why I call him friend !! That's enough to be my friend !!

Thanks for reading !! ☺
